EIGRP updates and sh ip eigrp traffic command

Hi Everyone,

IF network is stable and no routes are changed between EIGRP neighbours then if we do

sh ip eigrp traffic

Then we should not see any change in Updates sent/received right?

Hi Mahesh

I think since "sh ip eigrp traffic" includes hello packets, update, queries, etc.. you should the numbers in the status change/increase.

Hi Reza,

Seems if no Routing update is there then the update counters do not change.
