Hi -
I forgot to ask you for a "show version" also. What I was looking for was not in the directory output.

Hi Ranjan -
I agree. You probably have a defective switch. The "dir" command didn't reveal a "config.text.backup" file which would indicate execution of Express Setup. The "show ver" command revealed that the configuration register for the switch is normal (0xF). You should open a TAC case and see if you can get the switch replaced.

Hi Rajan,
are you losing the config even without the switch being reloaded? can you check the uptime of the switch using "show version" command?
when you lose the config, if you "Read" the contents of "more flash:config.txt" , do you see the old config?
if you do "show start", do you see the old configs?

Hi ,
I lose Config without Reload it . i have kept this switch in our LAB for further troubleshooting.
One thing i have noticed that I had configure Date/Time manually but after one day it got changed auto.
more flash:config.txt--> I do not see old config.
Sh Start--> It show only current configuration.
is there and issue with NVRAM or Flash Memory?
