Good Day

I have a couple of cisco catalyst 2960-x series switches in which one of them is giving an error when connecting via serial port it gives the below error. What could it be related to as i have issues now to configure SSH as the error keeps coming up line by line on each key entry preventing me to do any configs. Please give advise or should i reset to factory default settings and reconfigure the switch?

hulc_sfp_iic_intf_read_eeprom sfp _index 3 yeti_iic_read_retry fail

Regards

Hello @EugeneS ,

under line con 0

use

logging synchronous

this should allow you to enter configuration commands without having the line mixed with the error messages

Edit:

try the workaround suggested by the bug listed in BB's answer if a power cycle can solve it is an easy action.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

thank you i will try this out and give update.
