Hi Friends,
I am getting output drops on disabled port after IOS image upgradation to c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-37.SE1.bin. We are using this crypto image on all switches. We are not getting errors. This is surprising to see output drops on these port. Please help me.

Please "clear counters" on this specific interface and see if they are incrementing.
My guess the drops were registered at a point in time the interface was up. Please let me know.

Hi Eehab,
I am not using affected port.It was shut and assigned to different VLAN which we are not using since a month ago. This happens just after IOS image upgradation.

Sorry for late replying. Errors are incrementing after counter clear. Kindly help.

Please provide output to the following command:
1. sh interface
2. sh controller ether

to c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-37.SE1.bin
This could be the culprit. Have you tried a more recent IOS? Like 12.2(55)SE2 or later?
