Hi All
I am trying to configure etherchannel /PAgP between an L2 switch 2950 and an L3 switch 3750.There's an L2 switch
in the path of one of the gig. links .Can I byepass the intermediate L2 ? All links are Gigabit trunk.

OK gents ..thanks.. But at least there must be a way for load balancing on the two links ?? say by adjusting spanning tree port cost, or by disabling it altogether etc. I am running PVST...

If you're looking to do Etherchannel to that 2950, your best bet would be to use this configuration.
Spanning tree will keep you from doing anything else. However, with only a single L3 switch, you have a single point of failure no matter how you look at it.
If you have the $$, install a second L3 switch and dual-connect your 2950s. If highavailability is not important, what you've got below is probably best.
Just curious, what's your end game? What are you looking to accomplish? Are you experiencing high utilization between the switches?
