Ethernet Circuit Issue

I have a 150M point to point ethernet circuit connected via Single Mode Fiber from our 3560 switch to the another 3560 at a remote facility. I have configured both sides as routed ports on /30 connector. The remote switch interface is showing up/'up connected but the switch interface at the near end is showing down/down (not connected). Both sides are configured exactly the same and we have verified light from the carrier. We have also verified that the Tx and Rx are connected correctly. Any ideas on why the near side is not coming up?

Hi,

Auto-duplex, Auto-speed, link type is auto, media type is 1000BaseLX SFP

Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 1000BaseLX SFP

One side is Auto and the other is statically configured. Do the same on the other side and tell us.

Regards.

Alain.

The interface does not have the capability of letting me hard code the speed/duplex settings. I'm pretty sure it's because of the interface having an SFP in them. The one side came up 1000/Full but was set to auto/auto. I think it just auto detected the link.
