Hello
I have a Cisco 2960x switch with the previous iOS
c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E.bin
Was and got an upgrade to
c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-7.E3.bin
Via console cable
And that I deleted the previous iOS and commanded with the new iOS
show boot
show flash:
I checked and it was not a case
After reloading, I encountered a BOOT FAIL message
I want to go back to the factory settings but only the following items are shown in putty so I can not write a command
CPU rev: B
Image passed digital signature verification
Board rev: 5
Testing DataBus ...
Testing AddressBus ...
Testing Memory from 0x00000000 to 0x1fffffff ... | S
And it all happens again
Press & holding mode while powering up doesn't do anything.
And the switch lights are orange
I have a backup of the previous iOS on the tftp server

you need to recover using below ( but you mentioned mode button presses as per below guide lines to get ROMMON)
another recovery :

Thank you
I do up to step 6
But instead of this message :
The system has been interrupted prior to initializing the flash file system. The following commands will initialize the flash file system, and finish loading the operating system software #
I get the following message in the below :
CPU rev: B
Image passed digital signature verification
Board rev: 5
Testing DataBus ...
Testing AddressBus ...
Testing Memory from 0x00000000 to 0x1fffffff ... | S
These steps have been performed several times but It was fruitless
It does not appear to have an iOS switch

if you pull the power and power and to use break sequence still not working,.
Time for Raise a TAC case for RMA. (of any other solution TAC can offer for you).

Where did you get this 2960X?
The biggest indication a 2960X device is a counterfeit is that it becomes inoperable after a software upgrade is performed.

Thanks for the reply
I'm not sure if this is the original device
From the article you gave, I found some things that might be fake
But the problem is that with these conditions, how can I restore the same iOS that I backed up, the method to use the switch
And I guess the iOS version was upgraded a few years ago and maybe it is now
In any case, if it does not have an iOS switch, I should be able to access the rommon
Isn't that so?
What is the reason that the switch lights do not turn green, the situation is bad?

Go HERE and enter the switch's serial number to check for validity.

what does it mean?

Just give it about 30 minutes later.
I am interested in the "Product ID" section. That's the one that counts.

I did not catch your point
What can I do with iOS??

If you can RMA the switch, do so.

due to some reason the upgrade failed, so raise the TAC case for RMA.
or you can try old methods if you like to spend more time and investigating on the case,
As per messages you do not have ROMMON access, which means, nothing you can do much.,
