Fast PoE and Perpetual PoE on Catalyst 9400

Hello,

Does anyone know if fast PoE and Perpetual PoE are available on Catalyst 9400 switches ?

If yes, do you have any release to recommand me ? Right now I'm using version 16.9.4 (Fuji) but these features do not seem available..

Hi Gibraltar has perpetual , use the latest version though early ones were buggy

I tried Gibraltar (version 16.12.1) but I only see the following commands :

Switch(config-if)#power inline port ?
1-event Enable 1-event classification, applicable only when port is in upoe-plus mode
2-event Enable 2-event classification
priority set power priority of the port

 For information I'm testing with 2 differents line card models (C9400-LC-48U, C9400-LC-48UX)

16.9.4 support Perpetual PoE and Fast PoE.
The commands are:  

power inline port poe-ha
power inline port perpetual-poe-ha

To get it to work, you need to do the following: 

1.  Configure the two commands into the interface; 

2.  Connect the PD units to the port and wait for them to completely boot up; and 

3.  Reboot the switch or line card.

On 9400 I only have this command :

priority set power priority of the port

 On 9300 it works well :

Switch(config-if)#power inline port ?
2-event Enable 2-event classification
2x-mode Apply 2X power level to the port
no-xtalk-wa Disable MagJack XTalk workaround
perpetual-poe-ha Apply perpetual poe-ha to the port
poe-ha Apply fast poe-ha to the port
priority set power priority of the port

I suspect this feature is not yet enabled on the 9400 line cards.
