FCOE on 7k

Dears 

i have a customer that wants to activate FCoE on Nex 7700 on a F3 module(N7K-F348XP-25) but am confused with licensing what licensing needed to enable FCoE on the card do i need (Advanced Services Package(N7K-ADV1K9)) to activate the storage VDC ? do i need (Storage Enterprise Package(N7K-SAN1K9) to activate FCoE ?

Hi,

According to this document you don't need the advanced license to run FCOE.  You just need the FCOE license for the F3 module that runs FCOE.

Each F Series module that runs FCoE requires an FCoE license. FCoE enabled in a nondefault VDC does not require the Advanced Services License. By default, FCoE does not require an additional VDC and is enabled in the storage VDC. According to table-2 in this link, you have the correct license for FCOE
