Fiber link does not come up on the 10 Gig fiber module in the NEW 9200 catalyst switch

My existing Connection is on a 2960x-48 port switch. I tried to migrate to the 9200 catalyst switch with the 10Gig fiber module. However the fiber does NOT come up.  Any idea why and what can be the issue?

Make sure the fiber matches the optic. If the fiber is multi-mode, the SFP+ needs to be multimode and the same for single-mode.

If this is all correct, try to flip the fiber strands on one side of the connection and test again.

Consider after all physical and SFP check - try no negotiate  in the interface config level
