How does one find the next layer 2 path, that a frame will select to a MAC destination when more then one fabricpath link/connection is defined? Is there a concept like bridge switch/root switch and ID like with spanning tree?

Thank you

Good question, Fabricpath is a bit advanced compare to traditional switching, but gives almost the same results or nearby the results with the best approach in the latest technology world..

Cisco first Start with ACI with DC environment, Later now SD-Access in the enterprise environment.

one of the good presentations will give you in-depth information and how that works :

@balaji.bandi

Thank you.

WOW... that is mind blowing. I will have to read through and work through the pdf steps to see if I can understand this. I only have one client that uses Fabricpath, and I do not get much time with them. Due to the latter, it is always an adventure working with FabricPath; however, I usually do not have to work on much of anything - it seems very stable and reliable.

it is that Future if you are in-network industry.  you hear more and more.

Glad that the information was provided was helpful.
