Hello to all,
This is the first time I post something.
I have searched very much on the Net but I don't found any info related to my question.
I have a big question on the firmware upgrade, and I don't want to break the Cisco switch's I have (and I have too much fear).. so please please please help me!!!!
In my company we have 2 model of cisco switch 2960S ("WS-C2960S-48FPS-L", and "WS-C2960S-24TS-L") both with "15.0(2) SE5" SW version (I think the exact file on the flash is named "c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE5.bin")
And the question is.....what firmware update it is necessary ?
Is the c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-.E9.bin (https://software.cisco.com/download/home/282867581/type/280805680/release/15.2.2E9) good or I was wrong ?
Please help me,
Thanks a lot to everyone!
P.S.
Sorry for my bad english

They are good to go the version you mentioned.
since you are more concenred here :
1. backup the running config out of the box
2. give enough time to upgrade. and reload (so this reuqird downtime , so do in maintenance window)
3. Prepare to backout plan, in case something go wrong ( that means do you have support contact or smartnet with cisco) ?

15.2(2)E9 is the last-n-final release for the 2960S. It is a good and stable version.
