Hello,
I have a few 2960X switches I need to send to cisco for RMA'ing, and I am trying to remove flexstack modules out of these switches. I am not sure why these screws are on so tight. In the process I stripped most of them. The reason why I am attempting to remove flexstack modules is because we are going to send in 2960X switches without the modules since the flexstack modules work fine. Any recommendations on taking these screws out on the flexstack modules?

Small or needle nose vice grips. Lock them on and lossen. Just have to get it started, after that it should be easy to turn. Same method works on stubborn rack screws.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
If you have already stripped most of the screws, and the Flexstacks are under support, ask Cisco to replace both the switches and the modules.
