Good day everyone

I've read a bunch of posts but still am a bit confused, trying to upgrade from 16.12.4 to 16.12.5 in order to fix this bizarre PoE bug but nervous that there is not enough room on stack

#request platform software package clean

xxxxx#request platform software package clean
This operation may take several minutes...
Running command on switch 1
Cleaning up unnecessary package files
No path specified, will use booted path flash:packages.conf

~~~~ removed for brevity
SUCCESS: No extra package or provisioning files found on media. Nothing to clean.
Can I get rid of these crashinfo files?  See attached text file for show file systems
The file(s) in the following directories can be removed:
delete /f /r crashinfo-X:
delete /f /r flash-X:core
Do not forget to make sure the "packages.conf" file is pointing to the new packages using the command:
more flash-X:packages.conf | begin for NOVA
Make sure to run the same command on every switch stack member.
Make sure the boot-variable string is pointing to the "packages.conf":
sh boot | i BOOT variable
Hi,
You have about 70Mb space in one switch and about 100Mb in the other switch. I would recommend copying the crash files to a USB drive before deleting them. Also, you have a  lot of "gz" files that you may not need or also be copied into a USB flash drive before deleting and making more space.
20161031-232614.gz
 HTH
What are these .qz files?  they seem old.  Why would I need to save them?
With .qz files, it appears that you are backing up the config to the flash. You really don't need all of them. Maybe remove most but keep one or 2 of the latest.
I was able to use
delete /f /r creasahinfo-1:
delete /f /r creasahinfo-2:
delete /f /r creasahinfo-3:
delete /f /r creasahinfo-4:
and cleared up tons of space, will rerun upgrade tonight.
