Giving MAC address on switch.

When we are securing a switch on Cisco and giving MAC-ID, do we give the MAC address of the port or of the Pc attached to that port?

In the security of switch ports you must enter the MAC (s) that will be co-connected to that port, not the MAC of the switch port

If you looking to Secure the Switch port, you need to enable security on that port with MAC address (correspondent to Device like PC or phone)
