We would like to have our first level support handle the changing of switchports between vlans when requested by a user, but do not want the performing via the CLI. Is ther anything out there that would allow them to do this via a GUI interace that is very simple as well as give us the ability to lock it down to specific comands and ports?

Which verision do you recommend and can you lock things down to specific ports/commands that they can run?

To be honest, I haven't really used it much so I wouldn't be able to comment on lockdown part. I think, 5.6 has some improvements over the previouus version.
Here is the link that could be helpful ....

I installed this but it does not appear to do what I am looking for. It also requires that you have level 15 access which our Tier 1 would not have. Thanks for trying..

If the switches were loaded with the .tar files you can setup the switches so they can be accessed via a browser via http or https . I don't know what you can and can't do with the browser but I imagine you can modify switchports with it .
