High CPU Utilization 6509-E VSS switch

Hi,

We are experiencing high cpu utilization in one of our DC switches 6509-E VSS running 12.2(33)SXH2a.

The only process above 10% is the 'ARP Input' and I wanted to enable cache flow under the vlan interface and check for any malicious traffic causing spike in CPU. However after enabling 'ip flow ingress' or 'ip route-cache flow' under VLAN interface, I am unable to view any output for 'show ip cache flow' as we used view in other switches and routers.

Is there any special way of looking at the required info. I want to view the output showing all conversations with interfaces and port numbers.

Rgds, VJ

I found this link and was able to enable cache flow

Try configuring "ip accounting" under the VLAN interface and use "show ip accounting" to view the traffic accounting.
