High CPU Utilization - C4506 for Cat4k Mgmt LoPri

Hi guys,

We have issue with the Core Switch C4506 utilization. It had increased recently and going till 75%. Based on the below commands, I see the following outputs. I have tried to unmanage device using SNMP and checked, still no help. 

I know the firmware upgrade is required, but since it is out of support and service, really need help to solve it till we replace it with another switch. 

Appreciate any help and feedback. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, and I apologize for late reply.

I have found that there were monitor sessions running on the Core Switch with VLANs as a source. This is for Call recording - and they are spanning voice vlans to record and present to recording server vlan. Whenever it was calls peak time, the CPU would hit. 

I saw there was this caveat for above mentioned IOS level and 4506 switch for monitor session that it would peak the CPU and it requires a bug fix. 

I suggested this, but since the switch is end of sale, and since the partner do not have SUP module available, nobody wants to touch it. The plan to upgrade Network infrastructure had been initiated.
