High CPU Utilization in Catalyst 3750 Stacked Switch

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling with the high CPU utilization of my Catalyst 3750 Stacked Switch. Here is the result from some commands:

I have been searching on google but it doesn't help me much.

Could you please tell me what process "VMATM Callback" and "HRPC hlfm request" do? How should I deal with these issues?

VMATM Callback

Sounds like you've got memory allocation error.  

 

Can you try upgrading your stack to 12.2(55)SE9?

I will feedback later once I try this. 

This 'VMATM' process mainly takes care of the removing the
addresses learnt on an interface when the interface goes down. 

The HRPC process apparently handles remote procedure calls on a 3750 stack

What is that you are seeing in the logs?

I'm also have the same problem with you. This event occure very shortly (about 5 mins) and count to normal.
