host name Address doesn’t working from WAN Network

Hello

I have problem , when I Access the local web server from direct LAN  using host name  address its OK but from  another network after Router  the host name doesn’t working and I have to use IP address of web server instead of hostname address .

Is there any command in Cisco router to fix this problem?

Hi,

It seems that this may be a DNS isse and not having anything to do with routers.

Check you DNS devices to see if they are property resolving IP address to name.
