Currently in all my Catalyst switches I have configured: $(hostname).$(domain) inside the MOTD, to notify administrators hostname and domain switch information, when they are attempting to log into a device.
I tried to configure this line on new Nexus 5500 switches, but I am affraid that it does not work, because when I log in a device the following is displayed:
\n.$(domain)
Someone can help to know how could configure this on a Nexus switch family?
Any help or ideas are more than welcome.
