How apply settings that 'standby console enable' permanetly?

Hello.

I using switch cisco 6500.

when I connected console in standby switch, I saw 'standby console disabled'.

Therefore, I inserted settings standby console enable, and save.

but when switch is reloaded, the settings disappear.

How apply settings that 'standby console enable' permanetly?

6500(config)#redundancy

6500(config-red)#main-cpu

6500(config-r-mc)#standby console enable

Hello GaeMi,

in a catalyst with two supervisors even using SSO the standby supervisor console cannot be accessed by default.

Try the procedure described in the following thread to see if you can enable it.

Switch#conf t

Switch(config)#redundancy

Switch(config-red)#main-cpu

Switch(config-r-mo)#standby console enable

However, to be noted in a different platform like ASR9000 with two Route Processors running IOS XR both console are available and can be used at the same time by default. I did it.

but, when switch was rebooted, not applied.

I have tried and rebooted several times, It was applied from a certain moment.
I don't know detail reasons... Anyway, things went well.
