Hi, thank you in advance for your time reading this post, I have a C3560X-48P-S that works for almost 3 years without problems until now, the actual led status is SYST LED on fast blinking and no additional leds or ports leds or activity with ethernet cables connected, the PS seems working ok and when I accesed via USB Console, I did it via com3 but got this message after " switch: reset "
switch: reset
Are you sure you want to reset the system (y/n)?y

Looks the switch's flash got corrupted and may need to raise an RMA for it.

Hi Carlos,
Is this under RMA coverage? I would say its the time to check for an RMA.
Nevertheless we can try all options to bring it up, but to me it is indicative of hardware failure and suggest to get it replaced

Try this to recover from Switch mode.

Thank you for your support Madhu & Lulian, seems like this switch has this issue as common problem, CISCO has processed as RMA and will be replaced tomorrow. I learned so much with your help but maybe the RMA must be the first step next time. Thanks again.

The "invalid parameter block" message does not look good - based on some very similar experience I had with a Catalyst 2960 I'd say there's a good chance you can successfully "boot xmodem:" (and, once you boot, config and flash will probably look fine), but obviously it's not feasible to do that every time the switch needs to be reloaded.
Unfortunately there's probably no way of touching the parameter block of the flash from IOS or ROMMON, so I'd RMA the device if that option was available.
Here's the discussion about C2960s:

Maybe it's worth trying another terminal emulator - I can't remember the last time I used HyperTerminal for file transfers since I discovered Tera Term:

No coverage, since this is so expensive, how possible is that Cisco fix the problem to avoid replace it?
