I'm troubleshooting a netwerk issue and I already know it due to oversubscription the Asic.
My customer has 6 links towards their ESX envirement. All the links are on the same Asic.
The line card is :WS-X4648-RJ45-E
The ports in use are gi1/1 to 1/6 (all grouped to 1 Asic)
The max load of the Asic is 3Gbit.
The chassis is: WS-C4506-E ( with Sup 7L-E 10GE)
In all the Tx-queue's I see : Tx-Drops-Queue-8 : 266459
Now I see a burst of data on a interface of 640Mbit/s, so most likely the Asic is oversubbscribed.
When I see the drops in the TX-queue they come in as a burst in all the queue's.
I could check all the interfaces and add all the data together to find the max load I try to send, but:
Is their a command so I can see the total load of traffic through the Asic?
Kind regards,
