Hi if your isp supplied an atm pvc configuration that's the underlying layer 2 technology that they use to transport your traffic you need an  an atm interface module on your router or ask them can they provide Ethernet instead there's no config that will get you around that as it's the physical transport type they use

dear mark malone

in the case that the ISP provide just PPPOE, is there solution using an upgrade of IOS or by integrating a new card interface ?

- if the solution is in IOS what is the upgrade that I need it (that support the PPPOE protocol)

- If the solution is in card, what is the name of cards that can i use it

please i need a solution in a brief time

Please help me

best regards

I have this informations of IOS .
