How to delete vlan.dat on 4500x pair in a VSS ?

I'm trying to delete vtp domain from a pair or 4500x running VSS . I tried erasing the VLAN.dat file , but after the switches reload the VLAN configs are still not erased including VTP domain. Anyone has any idea how to erase the vlan configs ?

I had to delete the configs to remove the vtp domain command. Not sure why we cant remove it from the running configs. I'm not sure if this is a bug . Anyway Thanks for your help Guys!!!
