Latest release available on CCO for 2900XL is 12.0(5)WC17 released on April 2007.

To my knowledge, 2900XL do not support IPv6 (IPv6 traffic can be switched through as any other L2 frame).

As you might know, 2900XL is EoS/EoL and Cisco do not make any more maintenance releases:

2900XL/3500XL does not support IPv6.

Why would you need IPv6 for a purely Layer2 switch like a 2900XL/3500XL?  Assigning IP addresses on a layer 2 switch is purely for administrative/management purposes.
