How to enable LLDP on Cisco Catalyst 6500?; enable this feature has an impact?

My switch has disable the lldp:

CORE#show lldp neighbors
% LLDP is not enabled

 if i enable this feature has an impact?

Hey,

Configure "lldp run" command in global configuration mode to enable it. And i don't believe there are any impacts enabling this feature unless you have too may PoE devices using lldp and less power available in PS unit.
