How to get to router> from router#

     Can I type a command or something that will get me from router# back to the router>

When I telnet into my router I go directally to the Router# prompt      is there something I can type to take me back to router>

router# disable

That will get you back to user mode.

  that works,

But now when I get router# disable

Takes me to router>

but when If i type router>enable

I get %error in authentication

I cant get back to enable

Ok got it figured out.

I added the enable password.
