Hi,

you can use intern vlan routing for this. to do this, you need router or L3 Switch.

in l3 switch scenario>

1. create vlans for user and servers

2. create vlan interfaces in switch

in router+ switch scenario>

1. create VLANs for users and servers in switch

2. connect router to switch and make that port trunk in switch side

3. create sub interfaces in router for each VLAN

those are the ways you can enable inter-vlan routing.

2 technologies described by K.B above are called intern vlan routing (must have L3 switch) and ROAS (Router on-a-stick) with L2 switch for vlans and router who is doing routing for vlans.  ROAS can be setup 2-3 ways so I would seek doc (instructions/labs). also, you can find and watch samples of both on youtube. \
