How to reduce bgp routing tables on cisoc 3560cx

So got a few C3560CX switches that are hitting the TCAM issue "IPv4 unicast indirectly-connected routes: 1024/1024 1023/1023 "

We have a couple of vrf's setup on these switches

Would doing route optimization fix this issue.

How easy is this to achieve as we are running BGP on these.

Simple no need all bgp routing table you need defualt only

So apply prefix list allow 0.0.0.0/0 and deny all other prefix

If you want to receive high number of bgp prefix then transit AS can also lead to memory issue' make your SW advertise only the prefix originate from your AS.

Insufficient information provided about your BGP to answer whether "route optimization" might be a fix and difficulty in doing so.

BTW, if the 3560CX supports SDM, possibly, a different template would reallocate TCAM resources to meet your needs.

Joseph.

Thanks for the reply but unable to configure the sdm with anything else but default.
