If you're asking about the VLAN information that doesn't appear in a config when running a VTP capable switch in server or client mode, the information is (automatically) stored in a local VLAN database (and shared across trunks with other VTP capable switches running in server or client mode). For the same VLAN information for a VTP capable switch running in transparent or off mode, saving the running config saves that information too.
