How to see router serial number using command

U can use "show inventory" to view router serial number

to view modules serial no u can use "show diag" command

Hi Friend,

THe ISR router serial numbers can be viewed with the help of "Show inventory" command.

Old routers like the 2621 if running the new code shows the processor board number with the "show inventory" command (can be verified with show version)

To view serial numbers for catalyst switches, you can use "show version"
