under the interface that connects to the ISP, add this command:

"ip address dhcp"

The problem is that I always get this message that how can you solve that?

*Mar  1 19:53:17.748: %CDP-4-NATIVE_VLAN_MISMATCH: Native VLAN mismatch discovered on GigabitEthernet0/1 (2), with SW2.Cursist.be GigabitEthernet0/8

Hi,

Please post the configuration. Are you using Gig0/1 to connect to ISP? The media that ISP has provided you is "Ethernet". Right?

Toshi

yes I use the gi0 / 1 to connect to the isp

Alian,

Thanks for letting me know. Have a good weekend.

Poster,

You need to clarify exactly what you want to do. Like I told you,we sometime need detailed formation to get the same picture as yours. Actually english is not my native language. You should try to explain in detail. There are many engineers who are willing to help you here. Alian is one of them. 5-Point for you

Sure it's possible to remote for managing/accessing the devices from another network. But we need to know the network topology that you're thinking of what you're trying to do.

Toshi

okay it is the intention to switch from home where the state is connected to the cable modem (ISP), I would like to remotely log in from another ISP to the switches placed at home but I do not know if this is possible
