Hi Hemakumar,
I can see that Milan has laready provided you the links related to HSRP
I can explain you how leakage can happen if you have mis-configured the VLAN
Think you have mis-configured the access VLANs as below and with below connections
Switch1----(Vlan 12)--------------(Vlan 181)Switch2
Switch1----(Vlan181)--------------(Vlan 12) Switch2
Switch1------trunk--------------Switch2
HSRP traffic originating from Switch1 Vlan 12, reaches Switch2. But when it reaches switch2 it thinks that it is coming from VLAN 181 becasue you have mis-configured the VLAN as VLAN 181. now this traffic will go back to Switch1 via trunk as VLAN 181 and will reach the HSRP router configured on VLAN 181
Now the traffic from HSRP route on Vlan 12 is leaked to HSRP router on Vlan 181
The same way trafficfrom Vlan 181 can leak to Vlan 12
Thanks
Raju

%HSRP-4-DIFFVIP1: Vlan10 Grp 1 active routers virtual IP address 10.10.10.253 is different to the locally configured address 10.10.10.254
I was facing this issue so I checked the configuration both switches and found that HSRP IP was different on 2nd switch thats why above logs got generate.
I changed the IP and issue got resolved.
