Hi,

I checked on a remote session and found that you have wifi and ethernet on the same system with the same subnet ...........

This is windows default behaviour, it is keeping only (Sending packet) on an only active gateway (Which is reachable to the Internet, If you have the same subnet on two interfaces). So After disabling your WIFI issue resolved.

Please vote, If your issue resolved.

Hi, By default this switch is coming in L2 mode. Please change to L3 (routing mode).
How to change:Cisco SG300 in L3 mode.png

Login in GUI mode

1. Click on Administration Menu.

2. Click on System Settings.

3. Change mode L3 in System Mode.

Note: Switch will restart and will come back in the default configuration. Be careful and take downtime for this activities.

-------------

Using the command line:

The set system mode Privileged EXEC mode command puts the device into

switch mode (Layer 2 mode) or router mode (Layer 3 mode).

Syntax

set system mode router

Note: Switch will restart and will come back in the default configuration. Be careful and take downtime for this activities.

i have already done that , the switch is already L3, beside vlan 1 default i have set up vlan 20 on on GE2 and linked it , i have also adding a gateway both vlan shows the route in ipv4 route but they are not connecting or communicating to each other what im i missing?

Please check following details:

1. The default gateway in the system must be same as VLAN Interface IP on your switch.

2. No, InterVlan ALC configured for block some traffic.

3. VLAN configuration on the switch must be correct.

4. Your Desktop or Laptop must connect to Access port (Not in trunk port mode) (If NIC is not supporting to VLAN Tag).

5. Disable the Laptop or Desktop Firewall for TEMP checking.

pc1.JPG

2. there is no ACL setup or active everything still on default.

3 and 4. see below my vlan configuration and both port i have configured it for access:

vlansetting.JPGaccessport.JPGport2vlan.JPGvlan membership.JPG

5. firewall disable on both PC, i think my issue might be to do with membership type under port to vlan !!!

look forward for a solution want vlans to interconnect

Please share CLI configuration. I will check it and update.
Your system is which is connected to GE1 port is having VLAN 1 IP address scheme.
Your system is which is connected to GE port is having VLAN 20 IP address scheme.

Please verify and share the CLI configuration.
Thanks,
Deepak Kumar
