Im just going to throw this one out there.
But
show dtp interface [type]{number}
regardless of if you use DTP or not will show you the date that an interface last went up and down.
show dtp interface TwentyFiveGigE1/0/10
[--output omitted--]
3 link ups, last link up on Mon Nov 27 2023, 08:20:27
2 link downs, last link down on Mon Nov 27 2023, 08:16:32

Use a -real- switch like Nexus series...🙂
sh int eth1/6
>> Last link flapped 5week(s) 0day(s)
But i agree, this should be standard by now.

Given that these ancient threads still pop up as answers in internet searches to questions that have long since had changes and the official answer doesn't get updated:
The Catalyst 9x family has had the show interfaces link command for years now. Goes back to maybe late 16.12? Fully supported in 17.9.x at the least as that's as old as any lab versions I have access to.
The output shows how long all interfaces have been up or down.
Port Name Down Time Up Time
Gi1/0/1 00:00:00 1w1d
Gi1/0/2 1d21h
Gi1/0/3 00:00:00 5d23h
Gi1/0/4 3w4d
Gi1/0/5 00:00:00 1w1d
Gi1/0/6 3w4d
Not available on Cisco 36xx series and likely other older platforms.
Cisco does a horrible job of making documentation search friendly results come up for things like this. LLM's work better but still aren't always accurate.
