Interface vlan counter showing as 0!

Hi Team,

Could someone please let me know why am I seeing the int vlan counter rate as 0??????

UK-Switch#sh run int g1/3
Building configuration...

 description uk
 switchport
 switchport access vlan 120
 switchport mode access
  spanning-tree portfast edge
 spanning-tree bpduguard enable
 channel-group 1 mode active
end

UK-Switch#sh int vlan 120 | i rate
  Queueing strategy: fifo
  5 minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec >>>>>>>>>>>> o bits input and output why?
  5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

UK-Switch#sh int g1/3| i rate
  Queueing strategy: fifo
  5 minute input rate 123000 bits/sec,50 packets/sec
  5 minute output rate 98000 bits/sec, 55 packets/sec


UK-Switch#sh int po1 | i rate
  Queueing strategy: fifo
  5 minute input rate 268000 bits/sec, 100 packets/sec
  5 minute output rate 232000 bits/sec, 120 packets/sec

  Because most normal traffic is routed in hardware and not routed to the CPU (SVI) to be routed so you conceivably might not see much traffic punted to the CPU .

If there is a routing through Vlan 120, then you MUST see input and output counters for the Vlan interface.

That means, no routing for Vlan 120 exist.
