Hello,
My clients WS-C2960X-48FPS-L are running LAN-Base license. Do the switches support intervlan routing?
Sample config:
ip routing
interface vlan 100
ip address 192.168.100.1 255.255.255.0
interface vlan 200
ip address 192.168.200.1 255.255.255.0
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
switchport access vlan 100
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/2
switchport access vlan 200
Would host 192.168.100.2 on G1/0/1 be able to reach 192.168.200.2 on G1/0/2. Is LAN-Base sufficient for this to work or would I need IP-BASE?
Thank you,
Ismail Usman

Looks like it would work, based on this conversation:

here is some of the facts about license :
If you want to run routing on a IP Base license, RIPv1, RIPv2, OSPFv1 will work.

Hi Ismail,
LAN Base license allows layer 3 routing by using static routing only. However dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP etc) is not supported. If you need dynamic routing then you need IP Base or IP Services license.
More info on different types of licensing can be found here:
In short, LAN Base license should be sufficient for the 2 subnets to talk to each other.
Hopefully this answers your question. Thanks
