Please review the attachment.

Switch1 and Switch2 have the same hardware chasis and modules. Switch1 is running IOS 15.0 and Switch2 is running IOS 12.2.

Can I take the IOS from Switch1 and install it on Switch2? Will it crash Switch2? I understand that the new IOS 15.0 is tied to the hardware now?

Can someone explain to me how IOS 15.0 installation differs from the previous versions? Thanks in advance.

Can I give you a valuable advice?  Here it is:  Stay AWAY from 15.0(1)SE and 15.0(1)SE1 IOS for switches.

15.0(1)SE has a memory leak bug.  15.0(1)SE1 has been pulled by Cisco after they discovered critical bugs.
