We have noticed that ‘basic’ configuration of auto smartport on IOS 15.2 won’t apply CISCO_SWITCH_EVENT (it does on IOS 12.2(55) ).
Lab setup:

We understand that we need some more configuration, but we haven’t managed to figure out how. Switch detection doesn’t work [WS-C2960X-24PSQ-L, 15.2(3)E1] to [WS-C2960X-24PSQ-L, 15.2(3)E1] either, or between other switches running 15.2.
(IOS 15.2 doesn’t have any problems detecting and applying auto smartport macros for the various Cisco Lightweight Access Point we have.)
Can anyone give information on this topic?
