IOS XE LACP port-channel on ASR 1000 with switch suspend

hi

when upgrade router ASR1000 to IOS 16.6.X  LACP port-channel goes suspend status and interfaces appear down down, but when upgrade this router to 16.3 its work fine.

any command required for work LACP in this ios version?

when i take show lacp counter command on router its all parameters is "0"

when i configure mode on (channel group 1), interfaces goes up but any traffic not send or receive on this port-channel!!!!!

Tthere is confusion in the post, first post says, it was working when you upgrade.

Second post overlap with not working.

Can you post what is other device where you connecting ASR to what swithc ? ( can you post both the side config)

Are you trying L3 port channel below sample config.

below sample config should be working.

ASR :

interface gi 0/0

channel-group 1 mode active

no shut

interface gi 0/1

channel-group 1 mode active

no shut

interface port-cha 1

ip address x.x.x.x z.z.z.z

no shutdown

config other side same and update.

i had big problem to write my problem exactly in first post because a lot of alarm get from cisco community to "not publicly post sensitive and/or confidential and restricted content"

before upgrade ASR, port-channel work fine. but when upgrade to version 16.6.5 its not work and suspended port-channel.

when show ip interface brief command on ASRit show down down status of physical interfaces member of port-cahnnel.

but when i change IOS and upgrade to version 16.3.8, Port-channel works fine.

after troubleshooting, i found LACP does not work and counter of lacp on interface is 0.

the configuration is correct  as you say.
