Hi,
I am facing a difficulty we have cisco 2960S switch. The IP telephone is not working, it gets connected and then disconnects.
port connected is Gi1/0/43. If we connect direct to the switch then it works. I already updated the firmware of the switch but no effect.
Can you guide in which direction I can further troubleshoot. and also what should I check for physical connection as well?

Which 2960S model is it? Not all ports on the 2960S models have PoE capabilities:

The switch Model is WS-C2960S-48FPS-L . According to my knowledge it supports POE as also mentioned in the link you provided.
