I am looking to set up a little lab and what I want to do is be able to use the Cisco CallManager 4.0 software and be able to configure a 7960 IP Phone. What problem I am running into is finding out exactly what I need to do this. I do not require a total working solution, only the basic use of Cisco CallManager and the 7960 IP phone. Can anyone help tell me what I require for this. Do I need the Cisco Media Convergence Server or can I just install teh software on a 2000 Windows server containing SQL software?
