Hi !
I read the attached document about IPv6 tunnelling solution over IPv4 infrastructure. I would like to understand if I had missed understood something or if in the document is exist an error.......
in page 15 of the document they show some example of ping command execute on router to check the connectivity with the other end of tunnel.
Router A as the following configuration :
IPv6 address : 2001:0DB8:1111:2222::1/64
IPv4 address : 10.0.0.1
Router B as the following configuration :
IPv6 address : 2001:0DB8:1111:2222::2/64
IPv4 address : 10.0.0.2
on page 16 of the same document it written :
RouterA#
ping 1::2
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 1::2, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 20/20/20 ms
was'nt supposed to be :
ping 10.0.0.2
or
ping ::10.0.0.2
or
ping 2001:0DB8:1111:2222::2
or
ping ::A0:2
Thanks a lot and have a nice day !
