Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to se send syslogs to a remote server via TCP with a specific port (that I choose), instead of the default UDP port 514?
The switches är Nexus 5000, 7000, 9000 and ACI platforms.
We don't find anything about that in the cisco documentation but mayby someone has done it before.
I know that "logging server x.x.x.x 5 port [port] use-vrf management" can be used in NX-OS to configure an optional port and its possible with the ACI too, but not change the protocol to TCP.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
it looks like NX-OS only supports Syslog RFC 3164 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3164) version. Who knows when there is enough demand they'll add it in future releases.

If you have smartnet contract you could open TAC case and get additional details.
