Hello Community !
I know this will sound stupid but I have to ask...!
We have a (CatOS) Cat.6509 connected to a Nexus 5672.
The c6509 reports :
> (enable) sh spantree summ
Spanning tree mode: RAPID-PVST+
while the Nexus reports :
# sh span sum
Switch is in rapid-pvst mode
Was I wrong to assume these two are the same with different syntax ?
We're troubleshooting weird, "phantom" like behavior (i.e. working / non-working, and vice versa) and I'm trying to verify everything...
I do not have any indication that this is actually an STP issue - just trying to make sure.
Thanx in advance.
Costas
