I accidentally delete the flash contents on my 3560 switch today. I am tryin to get the IOS back on there but it is not working. I have been trying to use copy via XMODEM but that keeps erroring out saying "CCCCCCCxmodem:: bad file number. I am not sure what else to try. Also, the reset process with the mode button does not seem to behave as described. The light above port 1 never comes on.

CCCCCCCxmodem:: bad file number.

The .BIN file may be corrupt to begin with or downloaded incomplete.  Download from the Cisco website one more time, check the MD5 hash and try again.
