Issues with Catalyst 2960

Hi,

I have a Catalyst 2960 that's unable to boot up. When I tried accessing the command line here's what I get:

øüþüøüüüüüüÿüüüüüÿÿÿÿþÿÿÿÿ
ÿÿÿÿÿÿ
ÿøüøüüüþü

I think something is wrong with the character set and it's not translating well. Can somebody help solving this issue?

The baud rate settings on the console port is incorrect.

Thank you a lot. I've forgotten that I had set it to 115200 while trying to upload an IOS image via the console
