LACP Port-Channel with Checkpoint Firewall

Hello,

we have build up a Port-Channel to a Checkpoint Firewall, which is running a new software, which allows this the first time.

Before it was not possible.

Now we have two Cisco 6500 Series Switche form where each Port-Channel was built to two Checkpoint maschines.

One Port-Channel worked, one not.

We found out, that we need at minimum the IOS installed: 12.2(33 SXI3 to run LACP successfully with Checkpoint.

Is this known, that IOS version has an influence on LACP?

Or was there a bug?

Hi Richi,

LACP has been supported in earlier versions of SXI releases like SXI1, SXI2, etc...

before we had the IOS s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF11.bin active.
